Constant Current Rising Voltage Pulse Charge Discharge Depolarization Fast Charging Method

Jun 23, 2022 Leave a message

This charging method is an upgrade to the conventional fast charging technique of constant current and constant voltage pulse charge discharge depolarization. It follows a constant current charging approach (such as IC). The charging process is terminated when the battery voltage reaches the charging outlet voltage (typically between 2.35 to 2.5V for a single cell battery), followed by discharging (with a discharge current of 2 to 3C and pulse width of 1ms), and then recharging. To further enhance the charging process, a discharge depolarization pulse is added, and the charging control voltage is tracked and adjusted by the integrator in a stepped manner, thereby accelerating the charging speed and boosting the full charge degree. Other aspects of this charging method are similar to those of the constant current and constant voltage approach.
