The gas detection component senses this and sends a control signal to stop charging and discharge briefly. This removes the polarization within the battery, ensuring that the outgassing rate remains at a low, pre-defined rate. This charging method is used widely across the world, though its implementation in China is scarce due to the absence of gas sensors.
